New TERN Orox, Bosch-powered, Fat Tire, All-Terrain eBike!

TERN has released an all new model of eBike that is different then their 20″ Wheeled models. Until this all new Orox model, TERN was focused on Compact, Folding and Cargo ebikes based on a 20″ wheel size and designed to work efficiently on streets and paved paths.

The Orox breaks through with a focus on extreme conditions where no roads or paved paths are needed. It is based on a heavy duty frame that adds a large rear rack and fat tires. This Bosch eBike Systems based model, has a dual battery capacity built into the frame, allowing for one or two battery operation.

Offered in Two Models, the S12 offers a traditional derailleur with Shimano Deore XT 1 x 12-speed gearing or the R14 with the Push Button, Electronic Shifting 14 Speed Rohloff Speedhub with Gates Belt Drive.
The Max Gross Weight up to 462 lb on road and 397 lb off road, which is a best-in-class cargo capacity.
Offered in Two Sizes, both supporting up to 286 lb rider weight. Medium for riders 5’1″ to 6’1″ tall, Large for riders 5’5″ to 6’5″ tall.
The Fat Tires are Schwalbe all-terrain tires or stud-compatible Vee Snowball tires with extra-wide footprint. These tries offer the best traction and comfort capable of operating on loose gravel, ice, snow, sand, and mud. R14 model offers Schwalbe Johnny Watts all-terrain tires.

The Dual battery capacity offers up to 100 mile range on single battery and 200 mile range on dual battery.
The Atlas Rear Rack offers a total capacity of 220 lb with cargo loads like big or small passengers, groceries, camping supplies or trail maintenance equipment.
The burly frame-integrated TowBar™ works with most trailer hitches so you can easily link a passenger, cargo, or pet trailer to your bike.
