More than 45,000 Urban Arrow bikes are in use around the world, in over 26 countries they have a whole community behind them. Over the past decade we have propelled electric cargo bikes out of a Dutch niche to a serious segment within the European market. Increasingly people and companies are switching to electric cargo bikes for their transport needs within the city. With that transition the cargo bike embodies a lifestyle, a conscious decision. Safety first
No compromise. The lowered children’ seating position makes for an overall lower center of gravity. This has a positive effect on the way in which the Family adheres to the road. A sturdy and adjustable three-point belt provides safety during the ride. And the expanded polypropylene (EPP) box protects your most precious cargo all around.

Supreme agility
Confidently zig-zag your way through traffic. The light frame, electric pedal assistance and stepless gear shifting guarantee a very pleasant riding experience. It is cycling the way you are used to, with agility and comfortable stability.

With the optional extra front bench, rain cover or Maxi-Cosi adapter you can tune your bike to match your family’s needs. Accessories;

Rain Cover
Rain covers are available for the Urban Arrow Family and Shorty models. For the Family you can take your pick from two rain covers, the Essential and the Plus. All rain covers are compatible with the Urban Arrow Poncho, so not only your kids are well protected.

The Raincover PLUS offers a generous amount of room for mounting a Maxi-Cosi seat in the front. That way you can even bring your youngest on all your trips. With our Dutch heritage, we are definitely no stranger to weeks in which the weather gods seem to take a special kind of joy in stringing together those rainy days. An increasing number of people, however, are adopting the Urban Arrow Family as their primary mode of sustainable transport. With those people moving through their local environment on a cargo bike year ‘round, the need for a Raincover to shelter their precious cargo becomes almost self-evident. Taking into account your feedback we set out to develop the Raincover PLUS.

Extra Bench
Thanks to the extra bench you’ll have space for a third passenger in the box. The Extra Bench has a flip-up mechanism that is held in place by the seat belt. If you need the box space for groceries you can open the belt and the seat will fold up to free up some extra space.

Rear Carrier Essential
The Essential carrier lets you mount a children’s seat through the MIK HD interface or large pannier bags. The max load you can bring on the Essential carrier is 30kg. The Essential carrier will be available from december 2021. When you want to use the MIK interface for installing a child seat it is mandatory that the carrier be installed by an Urban Arrow dealer (i.e. you can’t do it yourself).

Luggage Net
The ideal accessory for when you are carrying your chain lock or other stuff that you’d rather didn’t rattle around in the box. The net attaches to the bottom plate and the side of the box.

Maxi-Cosi adapter
Safely bring your baby along with the Maxi-Cosi seat adapter. It has two mounting heights and suspension to ensure an even smoother ride. In addition to this list there might also be other seats from other brands that will fit the Maxi-Cosi Adapter. However, Urban Arrow did not test those. We did test these and know these to be a good fit: Maxi-Cosi Cabrio Fix, Maxi-Cosi Citi 2, Be Safe iZi Go Modular I-Size, Cybex Cloud Z, Kidsriver June I-size and the Nuna Pipa Lite.

Urban Arrow Poncho
Thanks to this poncho, you’ll have no more excuses to take the car. The Urban Arrow Poncho connects to all Urban Arrow Rain Covers with a Velcro strip, leaving you a dry an happy rider. Another unique feature is the transparent window through which the rider has a good view of the bike’s display and childeren inside the box. The poncho is made from a polyester fabric, with a TPU coating which gives the Poncho a premium look and feel.

Bike parka
This parka will protect your bike from the elements when it’s parked outside. When not in use, it easily folds into a convenient little pouch.

Box Cover
The box cover neatly covers your bike when it’s not being used and protects against rain and unwanted debris.

Sun cover
The Suncover has your children covered with its built-in SPF-50 UV-protective layer. The Suncover consists of two parts, one of which can be opened to ensure an even better airflow on those really warm days. The Suncover will be available from mid november 2021.

Dual Battery Set (excl. battery)
Double the juice, triple the pleasure. You can equip your bike with not just one, but two batteries. To do so you’ll need to install the DualBattery set and obtain a second battery separately. This set-up will give you twice the range and guarantee you more staying power.

Floor mat
This floor mat keeps loose items in place while you ride and protects the bottom of your box from scratches and other damage.

Rails for water bottle holder
If you want to install your own water bottle holder you’ll need this accessory to mount it to the bike.
