2022 Riese & Muller Tinker Silent Vario, German Engineered Compact Cargo eBike!
Riese & Muller was founded as a company based on a compact bicycle called the Birdy.
Today, Riese & Muller has the Best Catalog of eBikes in the industry. The reason is that they have eBikes that fit into all Four Categories that eBike Central focuses on. These include:
- Urban
- Off Road
- Cargo
- Compact
The most interesting thing about the Tinker model is that it is defined by Riese & Muller as a Cargo eBike, yes a cargo type. But, it is also a Compact Model defined by eBike Central due to the 20″ wheels.
So, Riese & Muller is the ONLY eBike brand we carry that has an eBike that fits in all four categories we focus on. That is amazing!
The Tinker is an amazing model in that it has these highlights:
- Compact and Strong – Though the frame does not fold, the handlebars to fold flat down. Folding introduces weakness into the frame. The Tinker is stronger than any folding bike on the market. You can also twist he handlebar with its folded flat to create a short, narrow eBike for transport or storage.
- Cargo – Riese & Muller categorizes the Tinker as a Cargo model, so it is the best of Cargo and Compact combined.
- Handling – It handles very much like a larger wheeled urban model, but more maneauverable at lower speeds. Smaller wheels keeps overall weight lower to the ground, which is better for balancing. Smaller tires help by being lighter weight, easier to turn at low speed.
- Bosch eBike System. Active Line Plus system to use minimal battery with plenty of power.
- Enviolo Gear System. Continuously Variable Transmission for an eBike. It allows for some stationary adjustment of gearing, with a stepless system. Easiest gear system to use on the market today.
- Adjustable Handlebar System – The handlebar can be telescoped up or down. Then it also has Two Forward-Back Settings and a fold flat setting. This allows for it to rolled in the back of the smallest SUVs, placed in the backseat of most cars or rolled under a desk.
