Robert Golub – Recent eBike Enthusiast is Riding the Trails

Even though Robert Golub is looking forward to trying more intermediate and advanced trails once his skills improve, he’s already enjoying wonderful rides at local state parks.

“I rode the beginner mountain bike trail at Raven Rock State Park. It’s a 6-mile circle that was still fairly challenging for me.” said Robert.

Called the Mountain Laurel Loop Trail, it’s a scenic ride through the woods, with numerous bridges, stands of pines and mixed hardwoods, and a restored forest. More experienced riders can lengthen their rides by taking the intermediate or advance loops, both of which veer off the beginner loop.

”It was the second time that I rode this trail. It was one of the coldest days, and I fell crossing a bridge that was frozen over. Happily, I seem alright.” continued Robert.

Most assuredly, as Robert has also recently explored William B. Umstead State Park and Jordan Lake State Recreation Area with his eBike. He says the trails at these are easier but also very nice.

Thanks, Robert, for sharing your story!
