eBike Central has always been focused on advocating for improvements in bicycle infrastructure, safer riding and constant improvements of the products we offer.

Recently, the North Carolina Department of Transportation asked eBike Central and owner Joe Michel to participate in a webinar series titled “Another Way to get from Here to There: IMD Innovation & Technology Webinar Series”.

The webinar we were asked to be involved in is titled The Bicycle and Pedestrian Explosion in COVID.

This Webinar Series will run monthly from October 2020 to February 2021. It targeted city planners, policy makers and key stakeholders.

For our segment we were asked to

present information about eBikes, COVID related increases in bicycle riding, Infrastructure overview and Trends.

Our presentation was titled “ELECTRIC BICYCLING IN N.C.”
