We had a great time participating in the Holiday Parade in Durham NC yesterday with the Bike Durham organization.
We were invited to share their placement in the Parade to promote bicycle use and access in the Greater Durham area.
Bike Durham believes everyone should have access to safe and affordable transportation. Additionally, biking and walking are the most healthy and sustainable ways to move. They also promote policy, infrastructure, education, and community events to make Durham NC more equitable; empowering people of all ages to walk and bike more.
At eBike Central, we are working hard to play our role in promoting, creating and supporting access for Electric Bicycles and Riders. We are passionate about the products and have seen how they can be a sustainable, healthy form of recreation and transportation across the southeast, nationally and internationally.
We have customers all over the United States that share their stories.
We also know we would have more riders of eBikes, and bicycles for that matter, if there were more safer places to ride including Greenways, Paths, Trails and Protected Bike Lanes.
Please play your part in encouraging cycling by buying a Bicycle or eBike, voice your interest in having more and safer places to ride to your City and State Government Officials. Bicycles and eBikes are replacing car errands, and therefore reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions by reducing Gas Combustion Engine use with cars. Its also good for your health!
Ride more, ride safe!
