That’s the precise reason why we have developed the new Supercharger2. It simply wants to ride, ride and ride some more with its latest generation of powerful Bosch motors, comfortable equipment designed for long trips and the DualBattery with its incredible 1,000 Wh. And preferably ride fast, far and without long breaks. At the same time, giving you as much freedom as you want from an E-Bike.

It is very exciting for us to have the newest, 2020 Riese & Muller Supercharger 2 GX in our store for delivery. This is the Supercharger 2 GX Rohloff HS model with Kiox. That means it has the Electronic Shift 14 Speed Internal Rohloff Hub transmission and is a Class 3, 28 mph Electric Pedal Assist Bicycle.

The 2020 Supercharger 2models also introduce the all-new Fourth (4th) Generation Bosch eBike Systems motor. Riese & Muller offers two speed options: Class 1, 20 mph version using the Performance Line CX motor; or, the Class 3, 28 mph version using the Performance Line Speed motor.

The Rohloff internal hub geared system is at the highest level of durability and reliability. It has the widest range of gearing of any rear derailleur or hub system available on any Bicycle or eBike. With 14 actual gears, it has the lowest gear to climb the steepest terrain combined with the highest gear to achieve and sustain the top speed of the the Supercharger 2 with the Bosch Performance Line Speed, Class 3-28 Mph, motor system. Riese & Muller adds the Electronic Shift option to the Rohloff to make it as easy as Push Button shifting. Holding down either higher or lower gear buttons triple shifts the gears at lightening speed. You can also set the default gear when the Supercharger 2 is at a stop, so you know you are starting in your preferred gear.

optional Kiox Display. The Kiox has three main features:

1. The Kiox itself is an awesome display by offering Color and multiple new metrics for tracking your ride. These include Cadence, Calories and Hearth Rate (third party heart rate monitors).
2. The Kiox is complemented by a Smartphone App connected to the display via Bluetooth. The App captures all the ride information so you can see your route on a map and even shows Altitude changes using your Smartphone’s proximity sensor.
3. The Kiox connects and uploads your ride history to an online website that you can access after your rides. Using the Smartphone App, the Kiox is able to capture and send your ride data to the website where you create a Free Login to access.

The Supercharger2 incorporates Dual Battery technology into the frame utilizing the Bosch Powertube battery technology. We like to call this the 100 Mile Range eBike. Riese & Muller offers several of their models with Bosch Dual Battery technology which they helped develop with Bosch. The other popular models are Superdelite, Homage, Charger3, Nevo GT, Multicharger, Load and Packster models.

The Bosch Performance Line CX motor (4th Generation)
New levels of power and endurance.
The latest generation of the Performance Line CX is the most powerful E-Bike motor to have been produced by Bosch. It sets totally new benchmarks with up to 340% pedal assistance, a maximum torque of 75 Nm, extremely sporty start-up characteristics and pedalling rate assistance of up to 120 rpm. It is 25% lighter than its predecessor and almost half the size. In order for you to enjoy the ride much longer, DualBattery Technology with 1,000 Wh ensures twice the range or more altitude and fewer breaks to recharge.

Purist cockpit design
Maximum power in minimalist form
We have reinvented the cockpit of the E-Bike: If you opt for the cockpit with Kiox display or the Bosch SmartphoneHub, these are perfectly integrated into the handlebars with optimised cabling. The adjustable angle of the stem allows you to choose a sporty or more comfortable seating position. Just as stylish as the cockpit is the frame design, with its built-in 500 Wh battery.

GX option and heavy duty package
An E-Bike as individual as you are.
If you like heading off on tours, riding in town as well as off-road, then select the GX option – a first-class component combination of all-terrain tires, wide flat pedals and ergonomic bar-end handles. However, if you need an E-Bike for heavier loads, you’ll be well served with the optional heavy duty package with its considerably more stable stem, handlebar, saddle and pedals, increasing the permitted total weight to 160 kg.

Smartphone docking and additional display
The Bosch Smartphone Hub transforms your smartphone into a display and communication system which combines intelligent navigation, fitness data and much more. It is convenient and reliable to operate using buttons on the handlebar or voice control. Your smartphone is automatically charged during your trip. But it also works without a mobile phone: in that case an integrated display shows key riding data.
