We were honored to have our Bosch eBike Systems Representative onsite recently. Stephen Proffitt is an eBike Technical Service Specialist with Bosch and is our Territory Manager.

We have spent a lot of time with Stephen and look for to a lot more. He was passing through the area and we coordinated a time he could come by to visit and catch up on what was going on at eBike Central.

On this day, we were preparing Pedal Assist Electric Bicycles from BULLS for delivery to a local Police Department for officers to use on patrol. You can see more on eBikes for Emergency Responders on one of our Blog posts.

Stephen timed his visit perfectly as we were troubleshooting an anomaly with a Speed Sensor issue. The only we have seen since offering Bosch eBike Systems motors on our four brands. Stephen and Joe Michel, eBike Central’s owner, jumped in together to open up and diagnose a cable replacement. It took less then an hour to diagnose and repair the issue. That is a great testament to Bosch’s diagnostic tools both on the eBike and via their Software Diagnostic tools.

We delivered the eBikes to the Police the next day. They were very excited!
