This time we spent some time reviewing all the details on the Riese & Muller Culture GT Vario with the new Smartphone Hub option from Bosch eBike Systems.

Best Feature
The Culture has the famous Control Technology from Riese & Muller. This is Full Suspension on an Urban style City Electric Bicycle. The Front and Rear Shock Absorbers are meant to keep the tires planted at all time on the riding surface to provide Better Control, Better Performance and Better Braking. It is safer to ride with full suspension, especially on Roads, Paved Paths, Gravel and Packed sand where this eBike thrives.

Unique Feature(s)
The most unique feature is the Step Through Frame that allows for easier access to getting on this model.  The Culture model also has swept back handlebars combined with a very upright riding position. These features combined make it a very, very comfortable eBike to ride.

This is a City eBike.
The Culture offers all the features you could ever ask for in a true City or Urban Electric Bicycle. From the Fenders, to the Smarphone Hub to the Vario Continuously Variable Transmission with the Gates Carbon Belt Drive, it is the definition of a City eBike.

Lowest Maintenance.
This electric bicycle model uses Car Parts! Yes, it has a Bosch eBike Systems motor that is based on a steering pump motor. It then adds the Enviolo Continuously Variable Transmission that is sealed for the life of the eBike. Then it connects these parts with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive that uses no oil or grease, and lasts at least ten times longer then a chain. Riese & Muller’s goal here is the Lowest Maintenance of any ebike on the market!

Smart eBike.
Bosch eBike Systems has introduce the new for 2020 Smartphone Hub. This has to be the coolest part of this eBike. It pairs your Smartphone with a Mobile App to your eBike. The safety concept
Riese & Müller Control Technology is synonymous with safety and dynamism: the perfectly tuned full suspension of the newly developed rear swing arm ensures a sporty riding experience and the best traction even at high speeds. The permanently switched-on low beam with main beam switch increases your visibility in traffic.

Integrated battery
Power from within.
The concentrated power of the 500 Wh battery is so perfectly integrated that it is easy to miss at first glance. However, once located it is very easy to remove: just lift upwards in a single movement – or simply charge it directly on the bike. The integration into the frame protects the battery from moisture and stone chips while riding.

Carbon belt drive
Simple. Indestructible.

Bosch SmartphoneHub
Smartphone docking and additional display
The Bosch SmartphoneHub transforms your smartphone into a display and communication system, in which all functions are combined: intelligent navigation with live weather, fitness data and much more. It is convenient and reliable to operate using buttons on the handlebar or voice control. Your smartphone is automatically charged during your trip. But it also works without a mobile phone: in that case an integrated display shows key riding data.
