eBikes, Hurricanes, Storms and Power Outages!
We have three stores located in the Path of Hurricane Florence right now!
We do have some concerns about flooding in our stores. We have seen it in our Greensboro and Durham locations during strong storms this last year. The landlord’s buildings have some issues with door sill heights and the outside drains nearby.
Most residents of both states are concerned about Power Outages!
We have determined that eBikes can provide a supporting role in a business or household during Storms and Power Outages.
This is a list of the eBike uses during a storm:
- Doesn’t use gas, which we have gas stations that have already run out nearby.
- Can be recharged using Solar Panels, for FREE!
- Can also be charged from Generators and Power Banks.
- USB Outlets on the eBikes provide sustain charge or recharge capability for Smartphones and Tablets.
- Provide a Light Source via the Head and tail lights on many of the eBikes.
- Ride the eBike before or after the storm to maneuver around obstacles or debris.
Here are some links to USB related items for household use:
We are hoping and praying that everyone will be safe from this storm!
